Taurus - Leo
These two signs are both fixed. Fixed Earth and Fixed Fire. Two mutable is one thing. Two fixed is stubborn squared. Are you thinking what I am thinking? I am thinking: “Well, if they both start out agreeing on something together, they will be unmovable. But what if they don’t start out agreeing on the same thing? Taurus is a fixed earth sign. Leo fixed fire. Think of a hot earthen oven and its bellows. Again, if not at cross purposes, this would make quite a team, or a fighting unit, or a new company, and even a romantic union. But things would have to be in an “already agreed upon state”. Moving quickly, changing on the run, taking notes for tomorrow, flowing adaptively – none of those things look like they would be a part of the Taurus / Leo plan.
Leos like to lead. Taurus does not absolutely have to lead, and does not mind following, if it’s a plan and agenda they helped come up with and one they agree with. Taurus has its own self-protective kind of security and Leo is not known for being quietly diplomatic. The Taurus would have to agree to let the big Leo personality take the lead. Again, it could work, if Taurus did not take offense. The thing about Taurus is that they can look on the outside like they are going along, and yet on the inside they are sizing you up for getting gored. Leo is blissful, unless strongly opposed. They are going to assume things are wonderful, until they are in a fight. This could get dramatic suddenly.
Positive Postulate: If you come up with a “positive postulate” it could be drawn quite easily. Leo is affable, sociable and outgoing. Taurus would let Leo stay up front, and they are sweet, warm and mellow. It could make a nice public image, and a potentially harmonious coupling. Taurus could be the harder working part of the match, and Leo could do the public relations part of the operation. This is the kind of partnering – whether romantic, business or friendship would have an almost deceptively attractive outer image. They would both smile and tensions would be inner tensions. Outer grace would be the style.
Romance Recommendation: Initially, Taurus would probably find Leo’s sunny ways very appealing. Leo would see the warm Taurean energy as inviting and winsome. Since they are both fixed, neither would come off as flaky or unpredictable or too “individualistic”. Styles would be conventional and classically colorful. They would dance well together. Leo trying to lead. Taurus agreeing to follow. The fixedness could be a problem romantically, if someone made a suggestion that the other should make a big (or little) change. Leo would be insulted, since they feel they are close to flawless. Taurus would be offended because they have their act down, and it has worked quite well all this time, thank you.
Conflict Quotient: Watching a fight between these two would be like watching a brawl with no winner. Just use your TV imagination. A lion does not bring down a giant bull without help from the female lions. The lion would be staring at a four legged pair of hard horns, meaning that a draw is all that could be envisioned. Seriously, it’s not that these two are uncivilized, it’s just that one would ask: “Who is going to give in?” Most likely, Taurus would give in, but get compromises that Leo “officially” did not give up. And that could work. It’s a matter of style as much as substance.
Peace Parlay: Life in the end is repetitive and mundane, and so is Romance itself. This factor asks the question: "Can we be bored together over the long term?" The advantage for Taurus and Leo is that they both love basking in the sun. And truly, getting joy from your work is natural. Taurus loves pleasure and reflection. Leo might start prowling, just because they have not gotten as much attention as they like. Once they got this far, the two could be very relaxed together.
Keep Up The Interest Graph: Leo is always looking for new friends and admirers. This could make them see new terrain and always make things fresh and interesting. Taurus could like the places that Leo discovers and sample new dishes and cuisines. Taurus might have to do much following, but enjoy the trip.
Seven Year Itchiness: There are some signs that by their nature are more stable in their love interests and family concerns as time goes on. Others are not. The 7 Year Itch and Leo are naturals. Not that they would be unfaithful, but they would probably be more tempted than the average sun sign. Taurus, sensual Taurus, has a great smile and a nice smooth voice. If not too overweight, Taurus might stray into another pasture, if Leo has been particularly annoying.

ASTROCOMPATIBILITY POSSIBILITY RATING: 65% Positive Long Term - 50% Short Term. A short term relationship could be very attractive to both. But it also means they would not have had a struggle yet. However, as time went on, they would have to resolve differences. If they were mostly on the same page in the beginning and then struggled to work things out, it could be pleasant long term.

evrey word in here sums up my partner and i. he is a leo and when we row-we row!and there is no way we will giv in.in the end i(taurus) usually do.
i think to myself will we eva work out will it last? i love him very much and now im expecting our first son. we are very loving and affectionate but alot of the time we dont c eye to eye,maybe its because of our stars!

I am a female leo dating a taurus and yes, some of this is true, but it completely depends on the people. I'm not a fighter. i can be dramatic, but never a fighter and if me and my love get into an arguement it doesnt turn into an "epic battle of bull against cat" So I say, if a leo and taurus happen to find each other, go for it- you will know right away if its going to be worth it or not. Its a feeling that we Leos get.
I had an 8 year relationship with a taurus man.We were so passionately in love, but unfortunately like it is said here we never gave in and broke up in the end....Too much fighting, and not enough compromise....If you are a taurus dating a leo or other way around learn to compromise for your partner.....I know you don't want to lose your identity, but sometimes for great love your ego must be downsized. If you will talk about things instead of fighting and understand that your leo partner has a temper which comes and goes and your taurus partner just likes to feel that they are being respected, this relationship will last!!! i think ur kind of wrong i am a taurus and have a leo friends,at 1st we are best friends but after a while,hes kind of like bossing me around,and i dont like it,we fight a lot of time and now he is my arch enemy,i would never back down and follow other people order i will do what i want to do not what other people want me to do,IF THEY DONT LIKE IT I DONT CARE,i would fight until the end even though it is just a small problem.i can compromised if other people can compromise with me.and im surely would not back down first

I am a Leo woman and my Taurus BF is BULLHEADED. I think I have backed down more in this relationship than any before. I don't want to fight but he seems to live for it. I try to do the talk thing and compromise, and when I do back down, it works, things smooth over pretty quickly. It is really hard for me to back down but if that's what it takes, so be it.
Second note, I think the chase is also fun for us Leo's. We like to see how far we can push someone till they fall. I always pick with my BF about poking the bear, he is like a bear too, since the first time I poked the bear and seen the anger explode, I don;t do it so much anymore, at least not small stuff.
A relationship is all about what your willing to put into it. It's not going to be perfect without a lil work. Keep that in mind in any relationship and as long as they are willing to work, anything is possible.
I'm a Leo woman, and dated a Taurus. Yes, some things are true... The Leo's speak there mind.. and the Taurus hold there feelings. There is not alot a compromised in the relationship. For a man is always a manhood thing can't not accept that a Leo is stronger . As a Leo I felt that I need someone stronger... I am a Taurus and a good friend of mine is a Leo. We're only friends, but from reading this, I can see where some of his personality comes from now. He does like to be in control and leading whenever we worked in a group... but he would always back up for me when the project involved a more artistic insight. However, there came a time when he was very moody and bossy. I just simply came out and told him my opinion and then left. A couple of days later, I think he realized how upset I was and became kinder. It was a very rare compromise because normally I would have to be the one to back down and allow him to win the argument. Overall, this was very interesting to read :>

I'm a 21 year old leo in love with a taurus. Some of the things said are true, but normally I am the one who backs down the fight because I don't want to hurt her feelings. No matter what happens between me and her, I will always love her. We dated on and off for three years, but we always get back together because we love each other so much. I read this article because I wanted to see if we are compatible for each other. I believe we are, we might fight a few more times and have a few more break ups. But I believe we will be together in the end. I don't mind comprimizing and neither does she, just sometimes it takes a while to actually get there.
We became friends first and after a few months, we started dating because it only took us that long for us to click. Whenever I see her, its like falling in love all over again. We are amazing together and I don't mind showing her off because she is a precious jewel to me.

most of that is true i am a leo and my sister is a taurus things get tense sometimes but i always back down we are inseperatable and no matter how big the fight we always come up with a solution the same day life without my bestfriend(who is a taurus) and my sis would be a bit too boring
anonymous: Leo prizes excitement and does not mind a fight. Taurus is a mellow person with a temper if pushed too far. This entertains Leo. It is as if the Leo is playing. The Taurus is not too sensitive, they are just touchy. If you see the difference.

Good article. I am having the "pleasure" of getting to know a Leo and I the Tarus. She seems like an airhead and tht was told in your article. Only I am really a Aries/Taurus Cusp so fighting is my style---I guess. She contatnly calls me a liar and it it obvious tht she hasn't a clue what she is talking about. Thanks for these hubs.
