Astrology can get complex. I personally have 3 yods. Do you even know what a yod is? Take all the planets, spin them around, thrown in major asteroids that have been out there for aeons. Don't forget the nodes and the part of fortune and then as they spin, you come up with how the spinning is affecting everyone, and also how the spinning of all the planets is affecting your natal horoscope. Man, it is one big endless reading! And that is why astrology is complex. That is also why astrology ends up being an endless, daily reading, but also why you tend to dismiss alot of it. Its just too complex for most people's ability to consume and comprehend.
The Rising Sign -
We are talking about the ability of the conscious consumer, the average person who does not know what a "quincunx" is, to be able to appreciate astro wisdom and derive a benefit in their daily lives from that wisdom. In the 1970's I first learned about the "rising sign". It related to the hour of birth - specifically, what sign was on the eastern horizon on the hour you were born. I learned that that particular sign indicated the outer personality - or the "public self". I quickly started determining "rising signs" in my family and my self. Of course, you have to know the hour of your birth or use the standard 6AM birth time. I saw how that affected a sun sign. The self that you don, like you don your daily clothes, is that personality that you choose to greet the outer world with. What a fascinating concept I thought. But there is the sun sign, looming so large, how does it really affect things? Then I learned about the Moon Sign.
The Moon Sign -
The internal self. Psychology, of course confirms the existence of our vast internal worlds, subconscious and below conscious activity that "burbles" away inside us, affecting how we think, what we manifest in our daily lives, and influencing how we see that world of ours. Our internal emotional state is often "what we hide" when we greet and interact with the world. If you have a Moon in Pisces and have a Gemini Sun, that makes a much different individual then, say, a Moon in Virgo with a Gemini Sun. Once I would be introduced to these two individuals, I would expect the first one to be be communicative, but reflective and philosophical - a talker who when they spoke had maybe an intuitive turn with lots of empathy. The second one I would excpect to be talkative, but critical. With a Virgo Moon, a person who was volunteering their helpful advice to their loved ones, but might be a little edgy in their help. Intuition would probably not be a feature of their emotional life, or at least, it would not be as visible. This person would have a naive internal nature, always in a kind of "head scratching" wonder about other people's lives, and wondering why things were happening to them. The Moon Sign is determined by the hour and day of your birth, but also the place on the planet - the town you were born in. That tells you where the moon was at that particular time.
The Sun Sign -
Now you can put the "Triad" together! The sun sign is the one that everyone knows. "I am a Scorpio". When people say that - they are saying - "My sun sign is Scorpio." To envision this in an easy and comprehensible image, put the sun sign in the middle, the rising sign on the outside, or around the sun sign, and the moon sign protected by the rising and the sun. Then, however you choose to envision that in your head, you can see the sun sign as the core self, around which the rising and moon work. That's why the sun sign is such a good basic handle to use in conversation and general apprehension of individual qualities. The rising and moon affect how the sun sign functions. All three of these constitute a triad of individuality.
The Triad of Self Understanding -
Unless you have a friend who knows their moon and rising sign, and chooses to reveal it to you, you are not likely to know these things for your friends and associates. You can choose to find out the triad with your loved ones. However, some do not know the hour of their births. In that case, astrologers make an assumption that a person was born at sun rise, and assign them a rising sign that is the same as the sun sign. SO, the triad is mainly useful for self understanding. As you go through your day, you can see how the rising sign, the sun sign and the moon operate in you, and show the personality that you call "Jim" or "Jane" or "Joe" or "Jolene". There is an old Scottish phrase that talks about this topic: "Oh the gift that God would gie us, to see oursilves as ithers see us." Oh the Gift that God would give us to see ourselves as others see us. Many are not aware of this dichotomy - how we see ourselves versus how others see us. Maybe this is a silent gift from the Psyche to keep us from going nuts trying to imagine how people do actually see us. And of course, this varies from individual to individual. If you grow in maturity and self understanding, you will most likely start seeing yourself in these three components and how they affect your life.
Once you determine from your mother, or your birth certificate the hour of your birth, (or we can choose the standard 6 AM birth time if unknown and most people know the place of their birth) then you can obtain from a chart these three elements. It is actually quite simple. You know your sun sign because you know your birthday. Your Moon sign you can get from a chart, and your rising sign too, from the specific or standard birth hour. For those of you who have had your chart done, often it just goes into a dusty drawer. Why? Its too complicated! Dust it off, go to someone, if you can't read it, and ask them: "Tell me my rising sign, and my moon sign." With the knowledge of these three, you can start to understand yourself in new ways. If you wish, you can do the same with your intimates and loved ones and relatives. As you do this kind of exercise, you will see how your Individuality expresses itself; and then you compare your partner's information with it.
This is the answer to why sun signs are different from one another. You hear people say: "I knew three Leos, and none of them were alike." Of course, the individual charts add the complexity of individuation, but if you want a place to start, just look at the Moon signs and the Rising Signs of those Leos. A close look at those would readily show much more distinctiveness and uniqueness and then would help explain the differences between those three Leos.
The Triad of Other Understanding Blended with Your Triad
Thrown in the Partner and You Have the 3 Key Elements plus their 3 Key Elements. Then the totality of the 3 blends with the other totality of the 3. This really consitutes the simplest way of comparing two individuals horoscopal differences without getting a super analysis of the individual charts.
The Dynamic of Your Unique Togetherness -
Your Sun, Moon and Rising and Your Partner's Sun Moon and Rising. Take all the possibilities: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces TIMES 3, and you get the potential combinations being multiplied. Then you put the Partners together and yours and your have The Dynamic of Your Unique Togetherness:
A For Instance: You can say you are a Gemini and a Sagittarius, or going deeper, your are: A Sun in Gemini, Cancer Rising and Moon in Scorpio getting along with a Sagittarius Sun, Aries Rising and Taurus Moon. Just to share, because I have just this morning been looking up my moon sign - I already knew my rising sun or ascendant - I've a Sun in Sagittarius, an Ascendant in Sagittarius and a Moon in Cancer. One of the other sites I went to talked about your Sun sign describes what you want, your Moon describes what you need and your Ascendant is how you're going to get it. This on top of another site, which talked about Sun = soul/personality, Moon =heart and Ascendant = appearance or actions. I'm trying to get an accurate idea of what aspects of each I have in which aspects of my life. Would you agree with the statements of the other sites?

My website is back in action. Please visit. In my way of looking at things, I would agree with the inertia part, but its a little more complex. Libra can be just paralyzed with its beauty and balance and Leo can be befuddled over why they get any opposition at all. Your "suckmycockiness" says it all. Clinton and Obama both have this "What? You can't challenge me!" Leo's are Bright, but not necessarily smart. Leo is not about smart. Leo is about overwhelming and charming and back slapping. Libra has got lots on its mind, but also not necessarily cunning. Leo thinks its cunning, but that's because they subtly push people around. So, one looks pretty and impresses and one looks grand and impresses...but then there's the next day. The follow up. Working hard. Being sincere all that corny human stuff. That's why the pride and the inertia. I would think that "working at an airport" might be ideal. Lots of public contact. That's one thing you really need!

Iam piscis sun, scorpio ascendent , and sagittarius moon and i have a pretty unbalanced personality.In a way i am humble but at the same time i always thought that i could do things better than others and i cannot stand to be bested.is this due to the moon which is in a fire sign?I have read that pisces and scorpio as water signs function well in combination.I dont know, has anybody the same constelation ?
This is a wild combination. Give yourself a warning everytime you get upset. Your Sag Moon will give you permission to let your Scorpio go in Public. Your poor little Pisces is probably wonderful and allowing, but your rising and Moon will overwhelm you sun at times. Start meditating, take Tai Chi; do something for peace and tranquility.

Lori. I apologize. With a Sagittarius Moon, instead of a Virgo Moon, you will be much more light hearted. You have fun on the inside. That is a biggie for your happiness. Julie: The reason you said "let it rip, I can take it" is because of your triple Leo. Undaunted, essential confidence, born with a sense of royalty and that things should come your way. Big smile. Like Obama and Clinton - both Leo grins. Like they have really ever had any true virtue. And this is the let it rip part. If you can keep your ego under control and a sense that you are really just plain old human, you can carry of grand things, and yes, actually help people. And the love you give is grand and warm and we love to sit near you so we can feel as good as you do. But do you do good? Are you really generous? Does making a nice comment really mean anything? And just because you can butter someone up and get adoration? Is the adoration due? Is the compliment sincere? Forget all the spiritual stuff. That's just the minister in me. A triple Leo should just be careful not to get DWIs and try to talk the cops out of them. Don't steal, Keep up your ethics. Try not to get away with things that matter...like giving away trillions of dollars. Just forget people's birthdays and you will be forgiven. I would seek out an astrologer (plenty of them) and get an entire chart done with all the predictive stuff. I could do it, but have not figured out a way to do it profitably. It's not my purpose right now, but there are lots of good people out there.

Stalker: I should comment that your Pisces Sun and Gemini Moon and Scorpio Ascendant are a good combination for you. By that I mean your overall Ego is warm, psychic, wise and highly compassionate. The Scorp Rising gives you a public intensity and privacy which tends to hide your sensitivity when you need it. It's a funny combination for people to observe: Sweet Pisces colored by overly serious and interior Scorpio and then actually on the inner plane you are merry and lighthearted. Gemini Moon gets negative report from people who want your "moon" to have "soul". You already have lots of soul. You need your interior to be a clearinghouse, not a crowded house.

I was married 4 yrs but had to leave because I was being mistreated and unappreciated. It baffles me why I was treated in such a way because I was very good to him. It was like he treated me like that to hurt me intentionally. I dont think he knew how much he would strengthen me. I love a lot more. And instead of hurting, feeling bad or getting even, I made myself better (literally) mentally physically emotionally. I am thankful for those bad times because my eyes are open to a lot more. Im very sensitive to the mistreatment of others as well as to myself. Because of that, I confront people head on with what I feel are ill intentions.

I have a Cancer daughter. She is successful and 40. Yet she is always bothered be something. If it is not important, she will be bothered by the traffic, pets and clerks with an attitude. Aquarius Moon doesn't help much because they think they know everything. So, this just firms up your inconstant emotions, giving a sense of your own rightness is not good for the already combative and irritated Cancer. You need to take Tai Chi, deep breathing. Decide that your feelings should not be honored; they should be observed and edited. You need to arrange your life with priorities. It is OK to change your college major, you are young and looking for a path. This is the time to feel a little crazy. Once you make a decision based upon career tests and the like, start plowing a straight path to build your sense of self. Cancers are VERY strong and capable. Haha so true Christofer! I realised a few years ago this was the case and that it was detrimental and holding me back as well as making me feel quite unbalanced. Since then i have been growing my spirituality and meditating, practising yoga, using music and aromatherapy, getting regular massages and also working with crystals. This has helped me sooo much and when i look back at the old me i cant help but laugh at myself, i have changed and grown alot. The impatience can still get the better of me at times when i am taking on too much, dealing with numerous life issues at once. Also because my life path involves leading and helping others, my energy, drive and compassion can turn negative (frustrating and overwhelming) when i cant seem to find a way to put my talents and skills to use. I deeply feel others suffering and can easily pinpoint exactly why or whats causing it. I have to leave the tv off at all times and shut down when im in public as my compassion for others has me feel a huge amount of their pain, it frustrates my Arian side as i get such a fierce drive to help them but cant come up with the answer. Good morning! Yes, I'm patiently waiting :) Just checking back to see if there was a response and wanted too add I read where you mentioned in your article that you have three Yod's in your chart. Well, I did some research and found that I have one Yod in my chart as well, and my friend that I mentioned in my post apparently activates it in some way? I am assuming his aspects to my chart is probably what is doing this. However, I've always felt that there is some HUGE purpose I'm supposed to be fulfilling and it gets even stronger whenever I'm around him!? Which is why I posted on here. You are burdened with excessive personal energy firing off willy nilly, and in every direction. Virgo commenting the whole time, in its supposed wisdom, picking up the little stuff and missing some big points.

I like to walk up to Scorpios and say: "So What!" - Just kidding. You have been set up to be going through this. Also, though, you are being asked to learn and grow and meditate and find meaning. Directing your purpose may be to "let go". Wild idea huh? I am not being cavalier. Most of what we find in life has to do with not listening to the main strong biddings and commands of our ego. Jonathan: Aquarius holds lots of strong opinions about various and sundry issues, the origin of the cosmos, why rayon is so good as a fabric, the significance of global warming and why their girlfriends dont understand them. They are not as bewildered as people think they should be. But they are always making others scratch their heads. Kind and impersonal, they live in their own domain. So, along comes Sagittarius Moon and Rising. Your outer personality and your interior are high energy, bolting here and there, giving others a piece of their minds, and offending others without hardly knowing it. This is double for you. Your impersonal Aquarius becomes less quiet, more strongly opinionated than you already are, and zany and boisterous. All of this is a mystery to you. You are constantly surprising yourself. Though Sag doesn't really question itself, because you are Aquarius you will always be in a state of wondering about where all of the stuff you say and think comes from.

Well, you seem to have the picture pretty well complete. You are stating your ills just as if you have studied your chart quite a bit. So, I will give you the "Christofer French Treatment".
Cancer turns itself over trying to get its head straight, and it is so strong and powerful with so many serious concerns that you need to get off the beach with your claws and get on the moon. There. Now it's just the phases you have to deal with. Your problem is that Cancer IDs itself as its thoughts almost more than any other. What do I mean by that? They think they are their thoughts. Many signs know their thoughts are batting them around. You can't think that. You think you really are some monster self concerned beast trying to destroy you. No. It's just your vibes. Aq Sun, Moon Leo, Gem Rising. You suck at relationships because Aquarius doesn't understand others emotions. They are always tilting their head toward some inner voice. However I am also timid to an extent fear (almost despise) bad authority. I work in a very competitive environment where I feel pushed and driven often by peers and superiors. Your Sag Moon makes your Cancer more lively, less preoccupied with domestic worry, and more of a fun person. You could also be combative, quick with the tongue, carelessly insulting and a little high handed in dispensing your brand of mercy and fairness. The Cancer and Cancer/Gem Rising make you very strong about your emotional positions. You are not will nilly, sentimental or a leaf in the wind. Cancer affects the Sag Moon too. That's where your not just leaping and laughing, but your personal issues get the horns and the flag as you storm into the days activities. I wouldn't call you selfish at all. Just self preoccupied. Several of you up the line seem to be strangely similar. Cancer is pretty well known to people. Particularly a level of intensity and worry and self concern that seems to be with them continuously. It is hard to generalize about Scorpio, although people tend to try. If there is one feature about Scorpio that I would think about it is "intensity" -- about what is the big question. But intensity of emotion about their big private concern. Your Moon reflects the Sun's concern, and your Sun is going to be impacted the Moon. These two, reflecting off of each other have a building effect. They would make you very earnest. Being as earnest as you are deep in side and outside, I would advise you to express your serious earnestness LESS. It is going to be there anyway, but if you get myopic, you can get tedious. Both want order. One the cosmic kind. One the personal kind. The Capricorn Moon with Jupiter would seem to be a pretty strong influence. It can throw a fit and think it is doing everyone a favor. Oh how I'd love to tell my Cancer Rising to shut up, haha! It's one part of me that really frustrates me. I *don't* like sentimentality and touchy-feeliness... and I very, very often don't get along with other Cancers. Frankly, I tend to view them as being big ol' babies. So when I get emotional, it bugs me. I'm being irrational and I KNOW it. So frustrating. But at the same time, I have to appreciate some of the other Cancer qualities that lend itself to my personality in a positive way. I think the Libra/Cancer combo is what makes me so much of a family person. From before I can even remember, the number one thing I have ALWAYS wanted out of life is to be a mother. And with two kids (third on the way) and plans in the future for a fourth, I happily got my wish.
I love the Capricorn sides of me. My dad is a Capricorn, and we get along so well. I also get along with other Capricorns. And... my best friend is a Cap.

Kasey - aquarius rising, leo sun, virgo moon. Kasey, you have a combination of strong confidence, ego and a generosity of spirit. Then inside, deep inside, you have a hyper critical self with a sense of innocence, or as I more typically put it not understanding why people are so flawed. Aquarius has an out of touch aspect to it, as does Virgo. Leo understands but they don't care. All three of these elements have an "above it all" category. This doesn't make you 3 times more superior, it just keeps you from really getting the humanity of things. Leo slaps people on the back, and doesn't really care. Aquarius thinks it has the total score, but they are almost indifferent to people. Virgo could straighten the whole world out, if they could just get people to listen. This is decidedly one sided or negative. I say this to get to the positive: Leo is a bright sunny personality. Aquarius cares about the suffering of mankind. Just use flaked ice, and sip it slowly, enjoying the deep reality of who you could ideally be. There are people out there to love if you can find them.

Moon in Gemini - OY! They can fly from point of view to point of view before most people can assemble a single argument. Your darned serious Sun in Scorp makes you think everything is super serious, and overwhelmingly dreadful. This is also paralyzing. So this problem is a big one. Obviously we should address this. I often tell people that their strengths, or their hardcore programming is what makes people "proud of themselves", but in fact that's what you need to change the most about yourself. This is the Spirit of Transformation. First: Decision making is not all life or death. Just to play a game with yourself. Go out with a coin and toss it to help you decide. Seriously, this is how to approach. Let your Gemini do good thinking don't ask for three options. Ask your heart for one good option. Your Libra. Just tell it to stop. Tell it that your smart Scorpio has made up its mind. Use your Scorp to be more certain, more confident. Stop thinking and go with your gut. Gemini allows you to feel touch and see the world with electric reactions. They say Gemini is "surfacey and shallow". They appear that way because of their speed of senses. They are so much quicker than other signs, they can be like the cartoons where one critter is so fast, they are back before they have left. They can seem inconstant or carefree, again because of their speed of reaction. With your double Pisces, this is going to slow down the Gemini and make the normal criticisms seem less valid. Pisces deepens the reaction, comes on with much greater sensitivity and concern. This makes you very charming to the rest of the human race because you have the combination of Gemini cleverness with Piscean sincerity and compassion. Unless you have too much sarcasm or "lip" and a depressing sense of humor from Pisces, you should come off quite well with friends, strangers and loves and relatives. The downside is that your double Pisces could weigh down Gemini. Then, if Gem gets depressed, it can fly into the night with too much imagination and Pisces showing the way into the dark jungle. Don't get tripped up by your Piscean tendency to feel too much, get too sensitive. Stay balanced. Don't drink too much. Air and Peace, Air and World Peace. Libra/Aq is quite a mellow combination. Libra wants to order things aright, and AQ has the idea that it already knows what's right. OK. You are going to be you for the rest of your life, but indeed the "career choice" issue is a big one. First of all go take one of those big assessment tests. That will tell you where your talents, skills and proclivities lie. Sag/Sun and Rising with a Pisces Moon. This makes you a marvelous and fun guy. But it does fill you with uncertainty. Sag likes fun and action and movement and variety. Moon in Pisces will make you semi depressed all the time if you fail to meet your SAG goals. Moon in Pisces is good. It makes you wistful and soulful and charming and sweet, but it can be a drag if you give into your inner disappointments. The reason I recommend those tests is because Sag is very physical. But I don't want to sit here and recommend, Cop, Fireman, etc. Unless you do a deep analysis of yourself, you will always have this wondering haunting you. You need to start from deep within and get great talent assessment. The fact that you are going to be having this "questing" at least warns you not to just "talk yourself into" something that you emotionally get attached to. ScorpSun/PiscesRising/LibraMoon - Sounds like you have read enough to know the factors that are fighting within you. Your Scorp is not happy with you, but it gives you the drive to be an "artist". That is a hard one! You have obviously focused in on wistful, iffy Libra and emotional and up and down Pisces. Sometimes knowing your astro score can make you feel helpless. You need to put yourself through some training. Pisces has lots of benefits, but is not always the best for firm followthrough. Of course, all these things are good for "artistry", especially Libra Moon. To really get a hold of yourself start a physical program, running or tai chi, drop your chemicals, get a sound diet. Wendy, you married a difficult person! Don't fight, just give in. The only way to "beat" or get along with this person is to truly be weaker and more loving than them.
The problem is that you yourself are a tough nut. Your double Taurus makes you appear to yourself to be pretty civilized, and indeed you are, BUT at your core, you are a double taurus. More quiet than the Scorp/Cancer Moon/Leo Rising, but still you have a tough hide and sharp horns. I am not feeling for you, I am wondering how you ever both get to a "peaceful point". Both of you can defend yourselves. Your partner is more over the top than you, but for your two it gets down to "style points".
I hesitate to get too colorful, but I could write a screenplay about all the potential ways you two could "inter act".

Thank you so much for the quick response. I found it interesting and some parts uncanny, but overall very confusing. I was not sure what to make of it honestly. Perhaps a full chart would make more sense but I can't quite understand the combination of having a love to party, to act boastful and bold with Sag, to be awkward and confused as Scorpio, and yet cosmic, experienced and accommodating/empathetic as Pisces. Can these contradictory elements exist in one person? It sounds like a very unfortunate mix.
You are the one who was asking about your lack of harmony. I was explaining where that disharmony might come from. You are full of questions. Yes contradictory elements can exist and do exist in all people. It's not disharmony between signs, it's also disharmony within a sign. There you go. Your Pisces wants everything to be wonderful and explicable. Your Sag is questing and curious and your Moon sits there casting judgment on everything. "Unfortunate" is an interesting word. "Complex" is more descriptive. Go get a chart done and figure out where your Moon is, the 10th house (career) 1st house (Ego), 3rd house communication. "awkward and confused" is not how I would describe Moon in Scorpio, that is your interpretation of an overly long treatment of my wife's position. I am sorry that you are not happy. I can take another whack at you, but I sense that you would not be happy with that either. A clue: You are not supposed to be "happy", you are supposed to "grow". Sun and Moon in Pisces can give you great insight and a reliance on your intuition and a real sense that you are living amongst impulses, messages and themes. If you were a double Virgo, you'd be "technical". So, since your interest is music, I would say that fits right in. Music is mystical and soulful, but it is also mathematical and technical. That's why it is so compelling to the human. The Rising in Scorpio gives you a more driving personality in public. That could be very good for the more "rock band" kind of milieu. Scorpio rising makes you unafraid to express all of those Piscean impulses. In my mind, it does not go against music. The Rising Sign presents the Self to the Public. Self promotion could be excellent. Although that's not "musical", it could definitely be a part of a musical career. You know how convinced you have to be of your own ability to contribute in the music world. A general note a double Pisces might give you fantastic musical inclination, but you have to be tough too. Cancer Sun/Taurus Rising/Taurus Moon - Well, if you read some of these others, I would think you would hope for "boring". I recently had a new insight about Taurus. That they can serve well and hard and not ask for attention or praise. Cancer, the busy Mother type, full of its own worries, benefits from the two Tauruses. The skittering crab is constant caring. The Taurus is ceaseless, slow moving caring. How do these two combine? I would say it really allows the Cancerian virtues to come through. The Cancerian negatives are preoccupation with its concerns. Well, that's how your Taurus elements bring a positive tone.
There is a temper here. Cancer has a temper and though down deep Taurus can gouge. Under the quiet is not necessarily "peace", but "Leave me alone!".
If you do charts, then you really see the way nature can make the individual pretty messed up. I have seen triads in which I thought: "This person has few actual choices". Of course, that's not true, we have lots of conscious choices in life, but complicated triads take real efforts at complete consciousness.
Lacking complexity (have not done your chart of course), you should then look for purity of goal seeking, clarity of intent, force of continuity. CANCER LOVES THIS. They get really mad when things don't seem to go their way. You must be a very strong Cancer to have commanded the simplicity of Taurus making you kind, full of solace, ease of expression, beauty of smile and oh yes -- CAN YOU SING? Can you dance? Fred Astaire, the best dancing Taurus in Christendom. There is much that Taurus can do, and the irony is that they do so much with a profound sense of EASE. Don't let the ease fool you. The idea that harmony or happiness is not so much the goal but rather consciousness and evolution is a beautiful idea and something I will try and strive for. I hope I did not come across as unhappy, I was just having trouble at first with understanding the different elements, which seemed very complex as you better put it. If you would still be interested in interpreting a full chart, I would love that. I appreciate your gift with words and insights. Do you have a recommendation for where I could get a quality chart done? Would it be alright to find a free one online?

RaleighHKathman: Perhaps you would be an excellent one to ask. If I get into doing charts, it's just a computer, so people can get it done cheap. It is only the interpretation that is something people would value or not. Therefore, since I value my time, and the idea that I would have to respond to further questions, makes me think that I could not come up with a cost that could match the expenditure of consultations. Lois, thanks for joining us. OK, first off, Aquarius and Virgo have very little to do with each other. And so, this makes you first "interesting" and second well tooled to offset Aquarius's negatives (spacey and off topic) with Virgo's positives (detail oriented and strongly focused on error). Or, turning it around, Aquarius's positives, friendly and affable against Virgo's negatives: picky and dyspeptic. So, either way you look at it, it's a plus for you. AS LONG AS YOU CAN LIVE WITH THE CONTRADICTIONS. The Sagittarius Sun really loves this though!
Sag doesn't like dealing with Aquarian themes or Virgo Virginality. Consider yourself a blessed horse/pegasus. While you love socializing and friendliness, you also have that Virgo rising giving you a more sincere manner and way. You won't overwhelm certain little people with your broadly charming horsiness. CosmicWanderer: I don't see how your Rising Sign as Sagittarius (which should be 12th or 1st house, could be in your 10th house. So, I will assume your Sag is Rising.
The "Wanderer" part of you is the Sag. It seems to be part of your core ID too, as it would appear to be naturally. The "horsey" part of you gives you lots of mileage. Pisces carries with it so much lack of clarity. It can be woeful, warm, sweet, psychic, depressed, melancholy, cosmic and full of wonder, or cosmic and full of depression. It can wander from state to state, then next morning find itself right back in a nice post breakfast smiling kind of sweet apprehension of the next day. I urge each Pisces to define themselves, and find out what kind of sense of themselves they tend to run on. Instead of pretending to know you, I would just say, all of these things are possible. So, your Cancer Moon makes you much more centrally concerned with the basics of family and acquisition. But it makes you a worrier. Pisces can be a worrier too. Some days this may not be too good. Other days, a little worry is what we need to keep our things, stuff, reputations, jobs, friends. The question you should have asked: Can the Sag offset the wisdom and spirituality of Pisces/Cancer? You don't want to be caught when Pisces is low energy and depressed, Cancer is self consumed and Sag moves its body around in devil may care boisterousness getting its butt in trouble. Then all of a sudden one morning you have a DUI, a bloody nose or just a really messy one night stand.

Crazy Steve: Yes. You are going to be at cross currents all your life. Your pride in being a "unique" Aquarian starts your Steve out. Aqu's are really difficult for everyone and themselves because they have a picture of themselves that is resident in them. They don't need evidence and they don't get much reinforcement from others. But they are who they think they are, and they think they really know what they think they really know. It doesn't make them "right", but it does make them them.

I noticed that you commented on someone who had the same combination as I did. Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Scorpio and Rising in Taurus. I added my chart and hopefully you could give me a little more feed back. My question about my combination is, even though life will be a continous battle from within myself, will it continue to get better as I mature and eventually I'll be able to find peace and balance or will it be always be a battle no matter how old I get? Also, can creative outlets help with my resistance to expressing myself? There is stubborn written all over. All 3 of these can be "hard heads". That's too negative, but it immediately jumped out at me.
Aqu Sun comes ready made with their absolute understanding of everything, along with their impersonal but friendly manner. They can be beguiling or just offputting. Taurus Rising is quiet, determined, mellow, but hiding a temper and in love with the senses. Representing an Aqu Sun, they could appear to be very very certain, but with little explanation. This person may not have a colorful kind of speech, but is pleasantly determined in their nice way. With a Moon in Scorpio, this person is a big puzzle to themselves. Again, not very eloquent, but completely intense but not knowing why, completely solid, but not able to express much. Completely cosmic in understanding, but finding it hard to explain the why of it all to others satisfaction.
This person would be a good leader, indefatigueable and full of purpose. Military? Police? Revolutionary? Not sure how to conceive it, but they could make a big contribution.

Even though I wish to be generous with this site, I can not put time in on your chart. First of all, I don't know which HOUSES they are in. I don't have time to work that out with the degrees of placement. I think you should spend the money on a personal astrologer and let someone truly analyze your chart for hours, and discuss with you as you go -- a true consultation, not this one way process.
I think the best way for me to help you would be to say that EVERY SIGN AND PLACEMENT has its way of transforming a negative into a positive. And all of us are down here to TRANSCEND what we might see as impossible to control or reverse. Transcendence occurs when you take the elements and use them in new ways.

OK, Cancer is pretty harmonic for you with your Gem/Pisces gentility. A Cancer guy can be unpredictably moody, but a serious person. No hold the horses. Moon in Sag makes him kind of crazy inside. But he might hide that well. It definitely improves possible moody Cancer disposition. So, that's good. Scorpio Rising means you are probably attracted to him with your Pisces moon feeling magnetized to the tense electrical current. My Mother and I read an ancient astrology book. It said something like Scorpio does not know what to do with Gemini. They think they can dominate, but they can't. This might be good for you. tussipuddi: Aqu / Scorp Asc / Scorp Moon. Your entire generation was born with Pluto in Scorpio. That doesn't mean its unimportant, its just that it applies to millions. What house its in is more important. Regardless, I try to deal with the three and how they influence each other.
Looking at it one way, I could see you as an eccentric who is absolutely so serious about their eccentricity that they could be hard to deal with. That is too simple though. You, (not I obviously) have to learn what kind of Aquarius you are. They can be lost inside their interiors with a handle on the Cosmos and still impersonally friendly and a pleasant choice for conversation. The Scorpios Asc is going to probably make you a little quieter, but even more certain than your already fixed Aquarius. So you are FIXED ALL THE WAY AROUND. Your loved ones probably already know you are a bit stubborn and your friends find it out after awhile.
From the Aquarians I know, they would refuse to understand what their fixedness does. You can't talk them OUT OF their understandings, or INTO what they just don't want to understand. Aqus, if they don't agree with you will just stop talking often. They are so used to not seeing eye to eye that they can pleasantly just nod and change the subject.
Aquarians are known for being high minded and helpful, wanting the best for the most of us. Stacy, you seem to have a good understanding of your obvious differences and you seem to be "easy'with those differences. Your TaurusSun, LeoMoon, GemAsc do match up well with his AquaSun, SagMoon, SagAsc. I will try to give you my special view. His loony Aqua is blessed by your easy Taurus. He should be glad you don't have a more irritable Sun. Your Leo Moon elevates your peaceful Taurus and gives you a more cheerful and affable way. Then along comes you talkative, cute, clever Gem to show the Taurus how fun life can be. You have a great TRIAD for having fun and seeing life in an ebullient and wonderful way.

I can tell you that Aquarians are so hard headed that they are made of concrete, but in addition, they have strange conclusions, nutty points of view and think they know the whole Cosmos. Often they are intuitive and seem to be smart, but they can fight like stubbornly. If you resist them, then they can not believe you are so stupidly stubborn as to not see things their way. starlight75: Taurus Sun/Moon Libra/Scorpio Asc. Your need to express your evolving nature comes from your Scorpio Rising. Taurus smiles and is rather content to be who they are. These two elements tend to make you a little different. Taurus is simpler than Scorpio, but Scorpio can complicate Taurus. Not having thought about this much, I can say this is a bit intriguing.
However, we can't forget about your Moon in Libra. You have a desire for stability and peace. This matches closely with Taurus in sentiment and spirit. Scorpio is there for you to "represent" the complications of change and transformation.
Being "overwhelmed by the need to be strong for the people around you" is an interesting problem. Taurus is strong and reliable and can carry a load. Libra wants peace and harmony for the loved ones, and themselves. Scorpio wants supreme victory and control for themselves and their loved ones. You actually have a nice balance there. Yes, you will grow as you age, but don't count on lots of change. Taurus is out in the field munching and pulling its duties daily. I had to laugh at your comment about feeling overwhelmed. You described my constant mental 3 way conversation: Libran worrying because there are just too many possible ways things could go wrong/right; Scorpio envisioning & planning the perfect(if rather complcated and tedious)outcome and finally Taurus saying, "Wait a sec: Yes/No; Rght/Wrong; Good/Bad---it IS really that simple" It's enough to give me a migraine (literally)!!!!
I have one more question, if it isn't too much of a bother...I have Venus in Gemini and Mars in Taurus. Does this affect my triad in any way?

starlight 75. The HOUSE positions are probably more significant. Is your Venus in your first house ego. 10th - career, etc. But generally speaking, Venus in Gem means you will express your love nature through words, speeches and utterances of affection. You Mars in Taurus will make you express energy and work through the methodical and careful Taurus way. Blessings.
